» Tutoring & Supplemental Instruction

The TLT is dedicated to providing tutoring services in a wide range of subjects to Chapman University students interested in receiving help outside of class. Peer tutors are available in several general education subjects and for a limited number of upper-division level courses within the different areas of study Chapman University offers.

A variety of tutoring opportunities is available to students in both a one-on-one and group setting. This includes:

  • Walk-in Tutoring for many Chapman University courses
  • Assigned Tutoring criteria and guidelines
  • Writing tutors for any written project

All tutors are Chapman University students who have excelled in particular subjects. Peer tutors are not only familiar with their subject, but also with the professors. They know the ins and outs of the University and can help you feel more comfortable with your academics.

Tutoring services are available with no additional fee to Chapman students. Students must be enrolled in the course for which they seek a tutor.

Peer Tutoring Schedules

The TLT offers peer walk-in sessions in the Tutoring Center in DeMille Hall room 140 and in the Davis Academic Center (DAC) in a variety of subjects. Find your class below and download the PDF for available tutoring times and location.  If you do not see a course for which you need a tutor or a time when you are available please contact the TLT at tutor@chapman.edu.
