The Tutoring, Learning and Testing Center (TLT) offers a variety of tutoring and testing services designed to assist students in achieving their academic and career goals.   


Walk-in Sessions: These smaller (or one-on-one) peer sessions are organized by specific classes and subject

Supplemental Instruction: These group study sessions are guided by knowledgeable tutors that attended specific classes and take notes.

Writing Center: Need assistance with your papers? The Writing Center is a great resource for editing and writing tips.

Academic Mentoring: These partnerships match students with academic mentors that help them navigate Chapman's academic world. Contact us for more details.


Accommodated Testing: Students may request special testing accommodations that cater to different disabilities and learning styles.

TLT is Looking for a Few Good Scholars

If you have at least a 3.0 GPA, sophomore standing or higher, and received an A or A- in the subject you wish to tutor, then you are eligible to apply to be a tutor. Apply online through Student Employment. Math, science, and business tutors are especially needed.
