Maricruz's bio
Maricruz Santander was raised in the city of Montclair, California. As a first-generation college student, she embarked on her educational journey at Cal Poly Pomona. Actively involved in student government and an array of student clubs and organizations, Maricruz demonstrated her passion for campus engagement.
Upon graduating, Maricruz ventured into higher education, working at USC, Fullerton College, and Cal State Dominguez Hills. Recently, Maricruz obtained her master’s in higher education from Cal State University, Fullerton. She is dedicated to empowering and guiding students as they navigate their college experience.

I encourage students to remain true to themselves throughout this process. We are genuinely excited to get to know each one of you! Embrace your authentic self and allow your personality to shine through the application. By researching the campus, you will set yourself up for success. The website serves as a valuable tool. Throughout the application months, it is essential to surround yourself with your support system. Finally, always remember that we are here to assist and support you!

As a College Advisor, my favorite time was when admission decisions were released to students during spring. I enjoyed celebrating all their accomplishments!
