» Religious Applicants

Your religious and spiritual growth can be a key part of your Chapman experience. And though Chapman is recognized by two Christian denominations, it is not a Christian school.

Whether you're drawn to a particular religious faith or engaged in a broader spiritual journey, we provide a safe and inclusive space for students of all values and traditions.

Psychology major
"In the end, I concluded I am happier being more spiritual than religious. Being the Interfaith Council President taught me to see the beauty in all religions and in interfaith dialogue. I now believe that there is one God, and all religions worship that God in their own unique ways.”
