Oral and Written Communication competencies: Students will be able to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and results via oral and written communication channels.
Discipline-specific content knowledge: Students will be able to demonstrate multiple-subject content knowledge in the disciplines necessary for Pk-8 teaching. They will be able to identify and explain the conceptual, theoretical, and methodological foundations in the areas of mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and the arts.
Ethically Responsible Decision-Maker: Students will be able to critically identify, synthesize, and evaluate ethical issues through the use of evidence.
Social Justice Advocate: Students will be able to reflect on the importance of social responsibility/social justice related to complex, global, and intersecting societal factors as they become educators in the classroom.
