  1. Music History and Theory: Student will be able to demonstrate an advanced knowledge of music history and music theory by identifying, describing, comparing, and contrasting musical works from the Antiquity through modern times.

  2. Music Research: Student will demonstrate an understanding of appropriate methods for library-based musical research and scholarly writing, and a facility in navigating print and technology sources.

  3. Music Performance: Student will develop their musical craft and creativity to perform musical works representative of a wide array of music styles and genres, and to use critical thinking, analytical skills and a sense of collaboration to inform their interpretation.
