  1. Music Theory: The student will demonstrate fluent skills in music theory, including a developed academic understanding of music theory, as well as proficiency in aural skills and sight-singing/sight-reading.

  2. Music Studies: The student will describe the elements of different musical styles and genres, and use these elements to define and analyze the music’s era and/or culture.

  3. Composition and Performance: The student will generate a portfolio of original compositions through multiple drafts for various ensembles/media, which demonstrate adept technical expertise and artistic development.
