The Center for Undergraduate Excellence invites students to the Pitching and Presenting Workshop.  Learn strategies that can be applied across academic disciplines for writing abstracts, sharing your research and creative activity with others through conference presentations, and working toward publication.

The Center for Undergraduate Excellence, Schmid College of Science and Technology, and Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences invites students to Strategies for Getting Involved in Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity. Find out from fellow undergraduate researchers and creative scholars how to get involved in research & creative activity on campus. Learn how to identify faculty mentors, determine your interests, and choose or create a project. Find out how to draw your path to presentations and even publication in a journal.

The Center for Undergraduate Excellence invites students to the Grant Proposal Workshop.  Find out how to develop great ideas for research and creative activity, describe your projects, find faculty mentors, and ask for recommendation letters.  Meet students who've written successful grant applications.
The workshop is designed to address your questions before the deadline for the Undergraduate Scholarly/Creative Grant applications and also to introduce you to practices you can adapt for other applications

+ - Poster Design and Presentation Workshop

The Center for Undergraduate Excellence invites undergraduate students to the Poster Design/Presentation Workshop. Find out how to develop a better poster design to grab the attention of your audience through use of better lay-out and visuals.  Also, develop your skills as a presenter to engage your audience about your project.
This workshop is tailored to students presenting at CUSRD and National/International Conferences, but all are welcome to attend.
