Meet Wilkinson College Academic Advisors

Maggie SandovalWilkinson College Academic Advisor Maggie Sandoval joined Chapman University in March of 2020 when she began working at the Registrar’s Office. Maggie has worked in higher education for over eight years and has worked directly in Advising for two years. Maggie is a resource and advocate for Chapman students as they navigate college academics. Maggie earned her B.A. in Sociology from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills and a M.S in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys gardening, hiking, and traveling.

As a Chapman student, Maggie is your very own dedicated advisor. She is here help you make informed decisions about your education and achieve your goals in college.

Rhyan Warmerdam

Wilkinson College Academic Advising Assistant Rhyan Warmerdam ('24 English; '25 MA English) was recently hired on to assist Maggie in supporting students with general advising questions. Rhyan is from Sacramento, California, and will graduate in December 2024 with a BA in English and minors in Secondary Education. Rhyan is interested in research related to queer theory, modernist literature, and memoir, and is currently pursuing an MA in English.

Wilkinson College Peer Advising Program

Wilkinson's Peer Advisors are a valuable academic resource who help students select classes that meet their interests and program requirements; provide information on academic programs, policies and procedures; and make appropriate referrals to campus resources.
