The Rinker Health Science Campus is currently home to the School of Pharmacy and several graduate professional programs in the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences, including the highly regarded Physician’s Assistant program. Each of these esteemed programs has produced groundbreaking research and revolutionized advanced healthcare professional education.
Located in Irvine, CA, the Rinker Campus also benefits from close proximity to leading hospitals and health science initiatives, including one of the largest pharmaceutical hubs in the United States. This leads to greater employment and internship opportunities for health science students, allowing them to become immediately productive in their chosen careers upon graduation.
Establishing Student Services & Expanding the Research Vivarium
Since its opening in 2014, each program housed within the Rinker Health Science Campus has grown exponentially. While we are thrilled with the progress our students and faculty are making, the needs for expanded research facilities and a dedicated student services facility has become crucial.
As part of the most recent strategic plan, the university has outlined an expansion of the existing vivarium research facility as well as the purchase and renovation of a student services center at the Rinker Campus. These plans also include the purchase and renovation of dining and recreation facilities, which have been identified as a high priority by students.
