  • Trafficking for sex and domestic labor is rife in poverty-stricken Cameroon, in west Africa. Desperate youngsters and parents are often duped into giving up their children or themselves to criminals who use them as modern-day slaves. Against daunting odds, several organizations are trying to fight against this pernicious trade, and to restore dignity to its many victims.

Four victims break the silence of human trafficking in Cameroon by sharing their struggles. Meanwhile, a safe-haven local NGO, the Global Welfare Association (GLOWA), raises community awareness of the devastating cycle of trafficking. Join these Cameroonians on their journey of hope and overcoming.
