This page explains how to request changing or adding a major, minor or themed inquiry.

Many, but not all, requests to change or add majors, minors or themed inquiries can be made via a form in your StudentCenter. 

  • To determine the application process for a specific major, use our Change/Add Major Tool.
    • If your new major directs you to submit your request in your StudentCenter, follow the instructions below.
    • If your new major has a different request/application process, please follow that process. Not all majors are requested through the StudentCenter. 
  • All minors, except for Dodge College minors and the University Honors Program, can be requested via the form in your StudentCenter. To apply to a Dodge College minor, login to the Dodge College Portal with your Chapman credentials.
