Concurrent Enrollment

» Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment is when international students on an F-1 visa enroll in courses at another institution while they are enrolled in a degree program at Chapman University.

International students must receive permission to attend another institution from an International Student Advisor prior to enrollment.

Eligibility and Transfer Requirements

To meet eligibility requirements, students must:

  • Be in F-1 status at the time of request.
  • Be enrolled full-time at Chapman University for the fall or spring term.
  • Meet with an academic advisor about concurrent enrollment course options.
  • Received confirmation from University Registrar to ensure the course will satisfy degree requirements.
  • Credits you register at another institution are supplemental to the Chapman University full-time enrollment requirement as an F-1 student at Chapman University.
    • Undergraduate: 12 credits
    • Graduate: 9 credits
