longer labeled a hurricane, but a “post-tropical” superstorm. But no matter the name, the U.S.
Death toll is high and continues to climb. At least 94 deaths have been reported so far (Associated Press) and 3.6

Volunteer Efforts

- Over 877 National Service members have been deployed and are serving in disaster-affected communities
- More than 855 National Service members are on standby
- 320 AmeriCorps and Senior Corps members are helping with shelter operations and other response activities
- 445 FEMA Corps have been deployed to NY and NJ to support FEMA Emergency Response operations in affected communities
