Prepare a 2-4 minute dance solo demonstrating a wide range of your dance technique and artistry. It may be a dance you choreographed or a dance someone has choreographed for you. (Please be sure to credit the choreographer.) If you have skills in more than one dance form (jazz, modern, ballet, tap etc.) you may wish to present two separate shorter pieces to demonstrate your talent. Technical prowess, presence, musicality, expression and performance quality will be evaluated to determine admittance to the Department of Dance as well as talent awards.
