»Fire Prevention

The Fire Prevention Unit is responsible for the safety of the Chapman community by mitigating potential fire hazards on campus.  Prevention is accomplished through code compliance, coordinating inspections and maintenance of fire protection systems, and by means of educating and training the campus community.  The Fire Prevention Officer serves as the university liaison with the City of Orange Fire Department in matters of permits, inspections, and pre-incident planning
