The Chapman University Community Garden Mission is to grow knowledge, community and consciousness.
The Chapman Campus Garden has been established by faculty, students, and staff as an interdisciplinary learning space driven by student and faculty interests. With generous donations from 16 departments on campus, the garden has been started with fruit tree, planters for vegetables and herbs, and drought friendly plants. The garden is a space for students, faculty and staff to use in support of curriculum and campus community activities.
Located in the Davis Quad behind Sandhu, the garden is intended to provide opportunities for growing edible plants and trees, as well as native plants. We envision the garden to be a place for not only plants to grow, but ideas as well.
