User Name and Password

To access WebAdvisor, you must enter your Chapman User Name and Password on the "Log-In" page. User Names and Passwords are provided to students upon their enrollment at Chapman University. Faculty members will receive their Passwords at the beginning of the term in which they teach. The log-in information will be required in WebAdvisor when accessing any Student Information.

Lost your User Name or Password?
Students who lose or forget their user names or Passwords may call the Helpdesk at (714) 997-6600 for assistance. To ensure the security of usernames and passwords, this information will not be sent through email. You may request that a letter be sent to the permanent address on your student record in our computer database, or to obtain this information by phone, you must identify yourself with the folowing:

  • Full Name
  • Student Id Number
  • Last four digits of your Social Security Number
  • Dates of attendance at Chapman University

Computer Error Messages and Internet, Software and System Questions
If you experience technical difficulties when accessing WebAdvisor, you may find on-line help from Chapman’s Computing Self-Help Guides.

If you get the error message "For security reasons you have been timed out," the problem is most likely your computer's date and time, or your browser may not be set to accept cookies. Step by step instructions to correct this is posted on the Web Advisor link from the Mac or PC category of the Self-Help Guides.
