Ordering Transcripts

Official transcripts for LAW SCHOOL students may be requested from the Law School Registrar at (714) 628-2522.

Chapman University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering services on its behalf. All orders for official Chapman University student transcripts will be referred to the National Student Clearinghouse.

  • You may place as many orders as you like in one session using any major credit card
  • You may track your order online using your email address and order number

Chapman University issues Official transcripts only with a signed permission from the owner of the student record. The Registrar's Office releases academic record transcripts in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Requests for official transcripts from students with outstanding financial obligations to the University cannot be completed. Students may check for financial holds in Web Advisor's Registration Eligibility prior to submitting an order for transcripts. To clear financial holds, contact the Business Office at (714) 997-6617.

Costs and Services

The cost of each official transcript is $10.00. Transcript orders are processed within 3-5 business days and are sent out from the Registrar's Office via First-Class U.S. mail.

Rush service is available for an extra $25.00. Transcripts expedited via FedEx will require a signature upon delivery. FedEx will obtain a signature from someone at the delivery address. If no one is at the address, delivery will be re-attempted.

To Order Official Transcripts for Students With WebAdvisor Accounts

To get to the National Student Clearinghouse Student Self-Service, click on the WebAdvisor icon on the left and login to WebAdvisor. In WebAdvisor, click on the National Student Clearinghouse Self-Service link under the Academic Profile heading in your Students Menu. Follow the links to "Order or Track a Transcript" and complete the required information to order and pay for your order. Tracking an existing order may be viewed from this site.

Students with WebAdvisor accounts are not required to submit a written consent to release their transcripts. The username and password to WebAdvisor will be used as the electronic signature for the user's consent to release the transcript.

If you forgot your WebAdvisor username or password, call Chapman Helpdesk at (714) 997-6600.

To Order Official Transcripts for Students Without WebAdvisor Accounts

Students who were enrolled at Chapman University prior to WebAdvisor may use the National Students Clearinghouse Student Self-Service to order official student transcripts. Click on the National Student Clearinghouse logo on the left, or visit www.getmytranscript.com. Follow the links to "Order or Track a Transcript" and complete the items required to order and pay for a transcript. Tracking an existing order may be viewed from this site.

Chapman University issues Official transcripts only with a signed permission from the owner of the record. For your convenience, a one-time consent form to release your transcript will be generated for your order that you can return by fax, mail, or as a scanned email attachment.
