» European Art Culture: Venice Biennale

This course examines strategies of contemporary art production and curation (including cuisine) in some of the world’s leading arts events and institutions, such as the Venice Biennale in Venice and Hamburger Banhoff in Berlin. Students work with local artists, art professionals, and academics and visit studios, museums, art fairs, and galleries. In Venice, students study and write about contemporary art at the traditional Biennale, arguably the most significant exhibition of international contemporary art worldwide.
