Biography

Tyler Eschendal is an interdisciplinary artist working in music and media, and resides in Los Angeles.

As a composer/performer, his music has been showcased at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC), American Composers Orchestra (ACO), MacDowell Artist Fellowship, Eighth Blackbird Creative Lab, Young Composers Meeting, Nief-Norf Summer Festival and Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. He has worked with such ensembles as Sō Percussion, ymusic, Shattered Glass, Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, orkest de ereprijs and the Los Angeles Percussion Quartet.

As a videographer and media director, Tyler has recorded a plethora of concerts, recording sessions and music videos for the classical, jazz and experimental music communities in Los Angeles.

Tyler holds a BM in music composition from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and a MM in composition from the University of Southern California.
