Samantha Dunn
Biography
Samantha Dunn is the senior editor of premium content at the Southern California News Group, which publishes the Orange County Register. She produces the virtual program BOOKISH for the newsgroup about authors and literary life. Dunn's books include the novel Failing Paris, a finalist for the PEN Award, and the bestselling memoirs, Not By Accident: Reconstructing a Careless Life, and Faith in Carlos Gomez. Her work is anthologized in a number of places, including the short story anthology, Women on the Edge: Writing from Los Angeles, which she co-edited. Her work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, O the Oprah Magazine, Ms. Magazine, Los Angeles Review of Books and many others.
Dunn was a longtime writer-in-residence at the New York State Summer Writers Program at Skidmore College. She has a BA from New Mexico State University and attended graduate programs at the Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II and the Rainer Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University.
