Biography

R. Zebulon (“Zeb”) Law is an adjunct professor who teaches Estate Planning and serves on the board of the Chapman University Estates & Trusts Advisory Committee, as well as the Chapman University Endowment Council. He is a partner in the firm of Law & Stein, LLP. Mr. Law earned his bachelors’ degree (summa cum laude) from Long Island University, C.W. Post College in 1985. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from The American University, Washington College of Law in 1988, and his LL.M. degree (Master of Laws in Taxation) from Georgetown University. In addition, Mr. Law is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Law has practiced law in Orange County since 1993. His practice includes estate planning, business planning, tax planning, and trust and probate administration matters.  Over his career, Mr. Law has utilized his extensive knowledge and experience in tax and estate planning to implement advanced techniques that have resulted in millions of dollars of estate and gift tax savings for numerous high net worth clients (handling total assets in the billions of dollars).

He has served on several state bar committees and has testified as an expert witness in a number of cases involving contested trusts. He has lectured nationally on estate planning matters, has been featured as a guest expert on talk radio, and has written and published numerous articles on estate and tax planning issues.
