Biography

Lyla Rose Flashman joins the College of Performing Arts as the instructor of Stage Management, mentoring students in the program emphasis as they work on productions throughout the season. Having received their Master of Fine Arts at the University of California, Irvine, Lyla Rose is happy to be back at their alma mater where they received their Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Technology as well as double minors in Production Design for Film and Television (Dodge College) and Art History (Wilkinson College).

Lyla rose is a returning theatre artist at the New Swan Shakespeare festival, having served as Festival Assistant Stage Manager for Comedy of Errors and Pericles in 2022 and now as Production Stage Manager for Julius Caesar and Assistant Stage Manager for As You Like It during the 2023 season. 

Lyla Rose is a team member of INTUITV ARTSHIP which stages its inaugural show The White Feather premiering in March 2023. Flashman will serve as Production Stage Manager. In addition, they continue creative design work on film projects in collaboration with their film partners.
