Ivar Brogger
Biography
Ivar holds a BA and MFA from the University of Minnesota. His Broadway credits include the musical Blood Brothers (two years), Macbeth, Pygmalion (with Peter O'Toole), Devils Disciple, and Arsenic and Old Lace. He performed in 12 shows Off-Broadway, including the long running Cloud Nine, as well as Richard III (NYSF), six shows at the Hudson Guild Theatre, and three shows at the Mirror Rep. with Geraldine Page. Regionally, he spent four seasons at the Guthrie Theatre as well as performing at The Geffen, Old Globe, Pasadena Playhouse, Williamstown, and NY Stage and Film. He has guest-starred on some 70 TV shows, most recently, Masters of Sex, Aquarius, Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, recurring on Major Crimes, Seal Team, 911, and the upcoming Showtime series Kidding with Jim Carrey. On film he most recently appeared in the Warren Beatty film Rules Don’t Apply, Jersey Boys (Clint Eastwood) as well as Dreamgirls, Little Children, Oceans 13 and Battle: Los Angeles.
