Biography

Gabriel Li's research lies at the intersection of communication, political science, and social psychology. In particular, he studies how beliefs, information, and heuristics shape public attitudes toward complex and contentious public policies and political issues. He is also interested in applying innovative statistical and computational methods to investigate the effectiveness of correcting dis/misinformation, and to better gauge public opinion. His work has been published in Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, International Journal of Communication, International Journal of Press/Politics, and Journal of Communication, among other outlets.
