What We Do

The Office of Property Management oversees and manages the non-academic Chapman University properties.

  • Manages the Academic Village in Old Towne Orange where faculty and staff can reside in a close knit community 
  • Rents meticulously restored homes that reflect their own unique historic character
  • Provides weekly yard service, repairs, and maintenance
  • Provides rental housing within walking distance to the Chapman University main campus and dozens of wonderful Old Towne restaurants and shops

Property Management

General Guidelines

  • Eligibility: Full-time faculty and staff
  • Application process: Once application is received, applicants are placed on a wait list established by seniority
  • Applications:  Eligible faculty and staff may submit an application on or after their employment effective date
  • Lease terms: Month to Month
  • Rental rates: Rates are determined and competitive with the local area market by independent rent studies
  • Pets: Pets are welcome with a pet deposit

Note: Our supply of homes is limited, so the process may include being placed on a wait list.
