Event scheduling at Chapman is a complex process made easy with the help of Event Operations and the use of our online space reservation system, 25Live. In an effort to help all event planners during this process, we have created the event scheduling timeline below. This allows everyone to clearly see when they can submit their event to the 25Live system, and what the official cutoff dates are before the system opens to a broader audience.
2024-2025 Academic Year
Please note: The 2023-2024 academic year is now open to all individuals to submit their event.
December 1, 2023
All University approved major events must have their official dates submitted to Event Operations before this date. Event Operations will notify you if you are a university approved event prior to this date. After this date, the rooms will be opening up to the larger Chapman events community.
February 15, 2024
Event Operations will process all University major events for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. This process will not block you from 2023-2024 submissions.
March 1, 2024
During this time, we will allow all individuals who submitted a wait list request to enter the system.
March 18, 2024
On this date the 25Live system will be opened to the whole events community. At this point it is a first come, first served basis with events.
