The Schmid College of Science and Technology is home to many brilliant and innovative faculty whose research is always newsworthy. The college also hosts many events throughout the year, involving students, faculty, alumni, local businesses and industry, friends of Chapman University, and the general public. These events range from guest lectures to large-scale, multi-day international conferences that deal with important scientific issues and bring people together to better understand them.
