Jennifer Totonchy
Assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
An accomplished and gifted researcher and mentor, she is currently funded by three NIH R01 awards. One 5-year $1.6 million R01 started in 2019 and two new awards recently received at the end of 2021.

California Governor’s Office Awards $2.4 Million Grant.
Awarded to research team of Laura Glynn, Professor of Psychology, UCI, and CHOC from CA Governor’s Office of Planning and Research and CA Surgeon General to investigate “Addressing Health Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences through a Collaborative Precision Medicine Approach.

$3.5 Million from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
The grant establishes the California Educator Preparation Innovation Collaborative (CalEPIC), which involves a partnership with five teacher education programs in California.
