RESEARCH/TEACHING INTERESTS

Dr. Arasteh’s research interests focus on design, modeling, and simulation of emerging computer systems and IoT. Current research focus includes system-level modeling and design of embedded systems, deep neural networks, programming models for processing-in-memory, and simulation of computational models on massively parallel computers. Dr. Arasteh teaches courses in system programming, embedded system design, modeling and simulation. Beside his academic research and teaching, Dr. Arasteh has extensive industrial experience on designing a wide range of hardware and software systems for telecommunication, security, multimedia, and semiconductor industries.
