Students in Cross-Cultural Center

The Cross-Cultural Center, located on the third floor of Argyros Forum, is an open and welcoming space for all Chapman students (undergraduate and graduate).

Located in Argyros Forum on the Orange Campus (walking directions here), the CCC provides space for students to:

  • Hold club meetings.
  • Host events, programs, workshops, or guest speakers.
  • Socialize and connect (walk-ins are welcome during regular CCC hours).

Available space includes a main lounge and four conference rooms. Learn more about these spaces—and how to reserve them—below.

Reserve a conference room

Using unique messaging, artwork, and decor, the Cross-Cultural Center has four conference rooms that highlight underrepresented identities at Chapman.

Multiple conference rooms are open for student reservation, whether it's for club meetings, workshops or study sessions.

Details on how to reserve a room can be found on the Conference Room page.

Beatrice Lam
Global Communication and World Languages major
“When I walk into this room, there’s no negative vibes, and judgment goes out the door. That makes it very easy to be yourself.”

Book the CCC lounge

The CCC lounge is our central room that is available to all students whenever we are open

The lounge provides sofas and other seating that allows for a variety of activities. This includes:

  • Socializing and meeting friends. (There are also board games and playing cards available.)
  • Small-group study sessions.
  • A spot to read or do homework.

The lounge is also available and provides ample space for events and workshops. However, the space must be reserved in advance.

You can learn more and request the space on the CCC Lounge page.

Jerry Price
Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
“The function of the CCC as a meeting place is just a single part of its mission. This space is also the cornerstone for programs and experiences that enhance student learning in several ways because it exposes students to diverse perspectives and identities.”
