Graduate Programs The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 52-credit program designed for those who are interested in pursing a highly successful career in business. Students completing this program will develop an understanding of all functional areas of business, an ability to communicate persuasively, a capacity for effective economic analysis, and a global perspective. The program is offered in two distinct formats:
The Accelerated Full-time MBA (AMBA): Students who choose this intense, challenging and rewarding track receive their MBA in just 16 months. All nine required courses are taken during the day in a consecutive, planned format and then supplemented by four elective courses which are chosen from an array of options. In addition to academics, the student will have a keen focus on career search and receive in-depth and hands-on career guidance from the MBA Career Management Center staff.
The Flex MBA (FMBA): This format provides the flexibility to create your own schedule and complete the program at your own pace. Ideal for working professionals, each class meets one evening a week in order to accommodate both your professional goals and your busy life.
The Executive MBA (EMBA) is a 49-credit premier program designed for mid-career managers and executives and is a carefully structured, sequential course of study allowing you to gain your degree in just 21 months. Classes meet on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings, and team projects are frequently conducted via conference calls and the Internet in order to make the most efficient use of each student’s time.
MBA/MFA in Film Producing: Offered in partnership with the renowned Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, this unique 101 credit full-time program is perfect for students who want to develop business administration skills with a focus on business practices and careers in the film and television industry.
For those seeking an additional degree in law, we offer a joint JD/MBA program.
Integrated Five-Year Undergraduate MBA Program: Offered to undergraduate students who have completed 75 units or more of their undergraduate coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and who have received a GMAT score of at least 580. Admitted students take nine credit hours of MBA coursework in the spring of their senior year and will have an internship opportunity between their senior year and MBA year. BA in Economics gives students expertise in microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis as well as the ability to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. Emphasizing communication skills and an awareness of how the American economy compares globally, this degree prepares students to enter the country’s best graduate schools or start careers in business, government or non-profit sectors.
