Transfer student assignments are not guaranteed, and will be determined on a space-availability basis. Transfer students living on campus will be assigned to a transfer community or with current students in returning student buildings. Transfer students are strongly encouraged to apply for on-campus housing; however, students who are interested in pursuing off-campus housing options may visit Residence Life.
On-campus housing is not guaranteed for graduate and transfer students but there are resources to help you find off-campus housing. For help finding housing please visit the off-campus housing website and fill out an interest questionnaire.
You can also visit the Roommate Corner on Facebook where Chapman students who are looking for roommates post their rooms for rent.
As Chapman University continues to grow, expand, and enjoy a more geographically diverse student body, the demand for on-campus housing is unprecedented.
In order to ensure students are able to access resources to enable them to move into the Chapman neighborhood, we have dedicated positions to serve the off-campus housing community. To find out more, visit Off-Campus Housing Listings. You can also visit the Roommate Corner on Facebook where Chapman students who are looking for roommates post their rooms for rent.
