Instructor, Feldenkrais Method

Internationally recognized Lifestyle and Movement Educator Darcia Dexter has been working with people in the arts and entertainment world since 1996 when she became certified in the Feldenkrais Method®. She helps performers of all ages find freer movement, self-expression and creativity while simultaneously reducing pain and preventing injuries.  In addition to Feldenkrais, Darcia is also certified in Pilates, Bones For Life® and Neuro-Linguistics.  She joins the Chapman University faculty after mentoring students in the physical therapy department and presenting at the Healthy Approaches in the Training of Performing Artists Conference 2013.  Darcia has a private practice in Orange County which includes individual sessions, ongoing classes and special workshops for the Motion Picture Wellness Program, Scripps, Kaiser Permanente, and Soul at Home MarketPlace for Living.
