BLAST is a conference focusing on
B = Boolean Algebras
L = Lattices, Algebraic and Quantum Logic
A = Universal Algebra
S = Set Theory
T = Set-theoretic and Point-free Topology
It circulates between different universities. The earlier BLAST meetings were held at the University of Denver (2008), New Mexico State University (2009), the University of Colorado at Boulder (2010) and the University of Kansas (2011). BLAST 2013 is supported by NSF and Chapman University.
