Sorority Recruitment
Chapman University follows a deferred sorority recruitment process that takes place in January each year. Sorority recruitment is a time to discover the many opportunities that sorority life has to offer. This is where you learn about each sorority as they present their values and philanthropies as well as obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements. As you visit each chapter, you will meet the sorority members and discover how each individual contributes to their sorority in a unique way and how the sorority contributes to campus life and the community. Formal recruitment consists of four days of events where potential new members and sorority women participate in a mutual selection process, narrow down their choices, and possibly join one of Chapman University’s nine great NPC sororities.
Fraternity Rush
Chapman's fraternities focus on community service, academic support and success, leadership development, social interaction, and building a nationwide network of brothers that will support you throughout your life. Formal fraternity rush takes place a few weeks in to each semester in September and February. During these weeks, potential new members have the opportunity to meet active brothers and attend events for each of our nine fraternity chapters on campus.
