Can I be seen at the Student Health Center if I do not have the Chapman Health Insurance?
Yes, all students that have paid the Student Health Center fee are eligible for services.
Additional health insurance coverage is offered as an option which can be purchased through the Student Business Office and charged to the student account. The Student Business Office is located in the Bhathal Student Center.
Do I need to turn in a completed Health Record form
All students who have paid the student health center fee are required to complete the Chapman University Health Record and Immunization form upon admission and submit it to the Student Health Center before attending school. Submission of a completed Health Record and Immunization form is mandatory, regardless if the student insurance is waived.
How much does it cost to be seen at the Student Health Center?
There is no fee to be evaluated at the Student Health Center by the physician or nurse. There are additional charges for medications, lab work, injections, procedures, and women’s health care, but the cost is generally substantially less than you would pay elsewhere.
