Training Sessions
Below are the different training sessions that are available based on topic. Instructions for scheduling training sessions are in each section.
Class Scheduling (New Users)
Training is required for all class schedulers prior to security being granted.
To schedule training on class scheduling, please contact Lidia Alonso Hees at alonsohees@chapman.edu.
Class Scheduling Refresh
This training is for staff that have already completed the class scheduling training and are looking for refresh reminders for the upcoming semesters. Refresh training is offered twice a year. An email invite is sent to current class schedulers to RSVP for these sessions.
For questions about the Class Scheduling Refresh, please email Lidia Alonso Hees at alonsohees@chapman.edu.
Rinker Class Scheduling
For Rinker campus class scheduling training, please contact Revy Buchanan at rbuchana@chapman.edu.
Permission Numbers
Departments are able to generate and assign permission numbers to students to override class section permissions, requisites, and closed/waitlist status for student registration. Training is required prior to security being given. This training is for new users and a refresher for current users.
To schedule training on permission numbers, please contact Danielle Cobb at dpcobb@chapman.edu.
Program Evaluations
For training on student program evaluations, please contact Patty Michelsen at pjorgens@chapman.edu.
Post Enrollment Requisite Checking (PERC)
Post Enrollment Requisite Checking (PERC) is a process that refreshes course requisites after registration so the department can determine eligibility. The department can indicate if a student is approved to take the course without completing the requisites or indicate that the student should be dropped. Training is required prior to security being given.
To schedule training on PERC, please contact Danielle Cobb at dpcobb@chapman.edu.
