A unique partnership between Chapman and the University of California Irvine enables students to earn two bachelor of science degrees in as little as five years; one in Mathematics from Chapman, and the other in Civil Engineering from UCI.
Students on this track have the opportunity of first receiving personalized guidance from Chapman’s faculty of working scientists where students are guaranteed a strong faculty and student interaction and the opportunity for undergraduates to become research partners in signal research, data mining, and integrated circuit design.
They proceed to the ABET accredited UCI, where the student applies the theoretical foundations that they attained at Chapman on research concerning civil engineering topics as primary application domains: environmental processes, hydrology and water resources, structural engineering, and transportation systems engineering.
