Additional student groups and organizations
Chapman has groups and organizations dedicated to the interests and needs of first-generation students, LGBTQIA+ students, and students with disabilities. Find further details below:
First-Generation student groups
There is an array of resources and support for first-generation students, including mentorship programs and group activities that foster connection.
For instance, the Promising Futures program is a great way for first-gen students to get involved with monthly workshops, weekly study sessions, and social events.
You can learn more about the Promising Futures program, as well as other activities and resources for first-generation students, on the First-Generation Programs page.
LGBTQIA+ student groups
You're encouraged to embrace and celebrate your identity and interests by joining a student club or organization.
You can find a complete list of the clubs Chapman offers to the LGBTQIA+ community on the LGBTQIA+ Students page.
Students with disabilities groups
For students with disabilities, disability advocacy clubs and organizations are a great way to find community and a support system.
Chapman’s student club, The Spoonies, offers workshops and social events that provide a safe space for students navigating complex health conditions.
Learn more about The Spoonies and other sources of support on the Applicants with Disabilities page.
