Diversity at Chapman

»Diversity at Chapman

Diversity and equity is rooted in Chapman's heritage, values, and mission. The Disciples of Christ (Christian Church), which founded Chapman University in 1861, is known for its focus on mutual respect and understanding. In the 1920s, Chapman had a multiracial student body, and today, Chapman is building on that heritage by creating a diverse curriculum and community with students from more than 60 countries with a rich identities and histories.

Each student, faculty and staff member at Chapman brings with them a unique story and background which adds to the diverse Chapman experience. Learn a little more about us.
