+ - Campus Walking Tours & Information Sessions
Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Campus walking tours are 90-minutes in length and tour both the main campus and residence halls to provide an in-depth look at the history, academics, location and student life that makes Chapman University a standout in higher education. Information sessions are offered at the conclusion of the tours to provide an in-depth look at the application process, admission review, as well as answer any questions you may have. Information sessions are approximately 45-minutes in length and are hosted by an admission counselor.
Campus tour policies: Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. All campus tours will be suspended throughout Orientation Week in August, during finals week in May and December, as well as when the campus is closed for major holidays.

Fellows Interview Offerings for Fall 2016 Applicants
- September 8, 2015: Fellows Interviews begin
- November 20, 2015: Last day for Early Action applicants to complete a Fellows Interview
- December 11, 2015: Last day of Fellows Interviews for 2015
- January 29, 2016: Last day for Regular Decision applicants to complete a Fellows Interview
Chapman's Admission Fellows Program provides prospective students with the opportunity to meet with current Chapman student leaders for an informational and evaluative conversation. Fellows are also available to answer questions about the Chapman community from the interviewee or their parents. The interview is used by the admission committee as an additional aid in the application review process.
To qualify for an interview, a student must be a current high school senior and seriously considering applying to Chapman University, or have already submitted an application for the following academic year. A few of the benefits of interviewing with an Admission Fellow:
- Provides a more personalized application experience
- Helps demonstrate the prospective student's personality and passions to the admission committee
- Allows prospective students to explore the current student perspective on a more intimate and detailed level
- Introduces a Chapman student contact for the prospective students to keep in touch with throughout the application process
Interviews conducted by our Admission Fellows are available upon request, and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will offer interviews both on campus and over the phone. We also offer interviews during Discover Chapman Day. Fellows Interviews will begin for high school seniors in September and be offered through January.
*Chapman considers admission interviews to be OPTIONAL, and students who are unable or who choose not to interview are still welcome and encouraged to apply, and will be given the same consideration.
+ - Advising Appointments (Transfer Students Only)
Advising appointments are available for prospective transfer students who seek guidance on course selection and the transfer application process. These meetings are not required, but are made available so that we can assist students transferring from both 2- and 4-year colleges in creating an academic plan that meets Chapman’s recommendations and requirements. Advising appointments for prospective transfer students can be made by calling the Office of Admission at (714) 997-6711 or (888) CU-APPLY.
Transfer students can also speak to a Chapman admission counselor at local college fairs. Many fairs also have available transfer advising appointments following the fair conclusion. To see a list of college fairs, visit the transfer student college fair schedule.
