Why are you a CARES member: To encourage awareness of how frequent sexual assault occurs on college campuses and how devastating it is for the men and women that experience it.

I joined C.A.R.E.S. because it gives many opportunities to get involved and stay involved for a wonderful cause.

I joined C.A.R.E.S. because I knew my views and morals were parallel with what the organization stood for and I figured there was no reason why I shouldn't be taking an active stand for what I believe in and C.A.R.E.S. was the perfect medium for me to do so.

I joined C.A.R.E.S. because I personally have been affected by sexual assault and harassment. I want to help bring awareness to an issue that I feel that many people are not well informed about.

I am a CARES member because I believe in raising sexual assault awareness on our campus and throughout our community. As a Sexual Assault Victim Advocate with CSP SAVS, I'm proud to be involved both here at Chapman University and in Orange County.

I joined CARES because sexual abuse and violence are problems that greatly plague our world. The only way to solve these issues is through awareness and prevention.

I joined CARES last year as a representative from the Student Government Association. After studying abroad in the Spring, I was excited to come back to CARES and continue to stand up for things that I believe in and help to create a safer environment for all students at Chapman.

I am a C.A.R.E.S. member because several people close to me have been victims of rape and sexual assault. I am dedicated to creating a safe environment and facilitating support and healing for victims of sexual assault.

I am a C.A.R.E.S. member because I was a victim of sexual abuse many years ago. I believe in advocating for this cause and will give and support group efforts to bring about an awareness in today's society of the ramifications of sexual abuse in hope of prevention of such abuse and to help those who have been victimized!

I joined CARES after seeing the clothesline project around campus and I have been hooked ever since. It is a supportive environment that helps with a cause that is important to me.

Why are you a CARES member: I was invited to a CARES meeting by one of my friends, and after meeting Dani and the rest of the CARES members I knew this was something I needed to be a part of.

Why are you a CARES member: CARES is important to me because I strive to respect the opposite sex and I feel else should do the same.

Why are you a CARES member: I joined cares because a close friend of mine was tragically raped in high school. After watching her go through that ordeal I knew I wanted to help other victims in any way I could. Throughout out the remainder of my high school days I looked for that kind of opportunity but never found one. Then I found out about C.A.R.E.S. The club gave a presentation in my women's self defense class and knew this was just he kind of outlet I was looking for.

Why are you a CARES member: I am involved in C.A.R.E.S. because I want to actively contribute to rape prevention and passionately aid victims in recovery.

Why are you a CARES member: Throughout my past two years at Chapman, I have had friends involved with the CARES organization. After experiencing the powerful clotheslines project on campus, and hearing about the influence CARES has had as a whole, I decided to join and to get involved. I am also excited to serve as one of CARES’ student government organization representatives.

Why are you a CARES member: I joined CARES because this is a cause I am very passionate about, and I want to be able to make a positive difference on campus.

Why are you a CARES member: I am in CARES because I feel that I am a voice to represent students across campus to bring awareness and prevention of sexual harassment and to provide support for students.

Why do you feel CARES is important for our campus? CARES is a great group of people working for an incredibly important cause. Prevention and awareness are key in the effort to create a rape-free environment here at chapman, and in the greater community as well. The presence of CARES on campus is essential to letting survivors and allies know that there is always a safe place for them at Chapman.
