+-Career Connex CDC Text Service
Career Connex is a service provided by the Career Development Center to keep you updated on exclusive events, career opportunities and giveaways. The CDC selects their event text blasts very carefully and makes sure to only send info out about opportunities that are important and exclusive. We respect your mobile privacy and do not share any of your information.
To join Career Connex for FREE:
Text the letters “CDC” to the phone number 25827.
You will receive a welcome text and be signed up to receive exclusive events and opportunities texted straight to your cell phone.
You can stop our texts at any time by texting back STOP.
Quick Questions is a portion of time each weekday that the Career Center sets aside for drop in questions, no appointment required. You can have you resume reviewed, your internship paperwork looked at, come by for some helpful literature or just about anything (as long as it doesn’t last more than 15 mins.). During your quick question drop in time, it will be assessed if you require a full 60 minute scheduled appointment.
Quick Question Hours are as follows:
- Mondays:AF 303, 2-4 p.m.
- Tuesdays: in Union, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Wednesdays: AF 303 2-4 p.m.
- Thursdays: AF 303, 3-5 p.m.
- Fridays: AF 303, 10-12 p.m.

The Chapman Events Calendar is a good way to keep up on not only Career Development events and deadlines, but other events happening all over campus.
The Career Development Center is proud to announce that we now offer Business Cards on a Budget. Courses of Excellence is a program put on by the Career Development Center and Sodexo Food Services. At this event a select group of students is chosen to enjoy a fine dining experience hosted by professionals from different industries. These events are held at Sandu Chef's Table in the Randall Dining Commons and includes an exquisite culinary cuisine created especially for each event. This program is invite only.
