The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Research
(OUR) is to support Chapman University's goal of providing personalized
education by promoting and facilitating student-faculty collaborative research,
scholarship and creative activities.
The primary responsibilities of the Office of
Undergraduate Research are to:
- Review and administer Undergraduate Students Scholarly/Creative Grants
- Organize and hold the annual Chapman University Research Expo (fall) and Chapman University Research Fair (spring)
- Provide travel grants for undergraduates and their faculty mentors to present their research at professional conferences
- Serve as the public voice of undergraduate research at Chapman University.
