The Department of Art has dedicated studio space and lecture rooms for our Art Majors and Minors and offer 24-hour access. Some of the studios are equipped with storage shelving, lockers, libraries, art equipment, lounge areas, printers, spray booths and also offer outside spaces for students to continue their creativity outdoors.

Ceramics
Our 736-square-foot ceramics lab is equipped with multiple wheels, HEPA filtered glaze room, with indoor and outdoor workspaces, and both electric and gas kilns.

Drawing
The 1,160-square-foot drawing studio is equipped with 20 adjustable tables, a projector, as well as a balcony and storage space for student work. Students enrolled in a drawing course have 24-hour access to this room.
Graphic Design
The BFA Graphic Design is rigorous and challenging and emphasizes research-driven conceptual design methods, appropriate aesthetics, historical and contemporary awareness, writing development, verbal and visual articulation. The program offers two state-of-the-art Mac labs, each equipped with 48 Mac desktop computers sporting the Adobe Creative Suite. Students enrolled in graphic design courses have access to these machines as well as our seven Epson medium format photo printers, two 44-inch plotters, a variety of flatbed and film scanners, and a laser cutting printer.
Lecture Rooms
We provide standard classrooms and a seminar room for smaller class meetings or to be used extra workspace. The lecture rooms are outfitted with comfortable furniture, lounge areas, projectors, white boards and screens and push pin walls for critiques.
Painting
Our 1,084-square-foot painting room is equipped with easels for every student, balcony for outdoor needs, as well as storage lockers and 24-hour access for students enrolled in a painting course.
Photography
Our 1, 248-square-foot fully functioning photo lab included two dark rooms, drying cabinets, print dryers, two dry mounting presses, five large format color enlargers and 16 black and white enlargers.
Sculpture
The sculpture studio is equipped with indoor and outdoor workspaces, table saw, band saw, radial arm saw, drill press, belt sander, welding booth on patio, spray booth, 3 x 3D printers, and shelving and lockers to hold student projects and supplies. The studio has installed a dust collection unit to ensure clean & safe air quality.
