Chapman’s Proactive Education Encouraging Responsibility (PEER) and Health Education department facilitates this personal growth in our students by providing information, programming and services to students that addresses topics such as communication and life skills, conflict resolution, stress reduction, time management, rape and sexual assault prevention, and other issues relating to their physical, social and mental well-being.
Student Psychological Counseling Services
The mental well-being of our students is essential to their success and happiness at Chapman University. Student Psychological Counseling Services (SPCS) provides confidential, free of charge counseling for all full-time undergraduate students.
This caring team of licensed and professional psychologists, therapists, and Marriage and Family therapy interns is available to help students with psychological issues like anxiety and depression, along with adjustment issues such as homesickness and problem-solving skills.
The mission of the Chapman University Department of Public Safety is to facilitate a safe environment conducive to learning, working, and personal growth through the development of community partnerships with all campus constituents. This dedicated team of safety professionals patrols campus and responds to calls and emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.
In addition to campus patrol and emergency response, Public Safety offers many programs and services designed to make Chapman University a safe environment for your student to live, work and study. These services include:
