Dean Fuery is a graduate of
Murdoch University, Australia, with a BA (Hons), MPhil and Phd in
Comparative Literature. He has held posts at the University of London
(Royal Holloway College), Sussex University, and the University of
Newcastle (Australia). He is the author of eight books and has been
translated into Chinese, Italian, French, and Korean. His most recent
book is Madness and Cinema. His research interests include
psychoanalysis, semiotics, literary and cultural theory, gender studies,
film and visual studies, medicine and the arts. He is currently
completing two books: a study on cultural disturbance and the sublime;
and an edited collection on medicine, culture, and the arts.

Dr. Gordon specializes in research methods, women and politics, political communication, voting behavior and public opinion. She is co-editor of Anticipating Madam President (Lynne Rienner, 2002), author of Playing Politics: An Active Learning Approach to American National Government (McGraw-Hill, 2004) and co-author of When Stereotypes Collide: Race, Gender, and Videostyle in Congressional Campaigns (Peter Lang, 2005).

Mr. Chimenti is Chair and Associate Professor of the Department of Art. Nearly four decades ago Professor Chimenti began making art. At age four he was a "drawer." Over the years, his skills grew and he advanced to a dresser, and eventually became the armoire he is today. Professor Chimenti has worked for design agencies and advertising firms, and continues to run his own freelance business. He is also the Chair of Education for the Orange County Chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design in America.

Barbara joined Chapman University in September 1998 to provide administrative support for the Dean's Office in Wilkinson College after enjoying many opportunities in the defense industry. She received her B.A. from Biola University and worked with preschool children as well as teachers for several years after graduating from college. Barbara and her husband Andy have two grown children, Julie and Nicholas, and two grandsons, Bretton and Christopher. In addition to spending time with family, Barbara enjoys reading, particularly biographical books, and visiting historic places.

Nashua, Lisa

Lisa Nashua holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Claremont McKenna College and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Higher Education at Claremont Graduate University and her research focuses on African American, Latino, and Native American student attrition in higher education. Lisa has over 15 years of development experience in higher education, the arts, and social service not for profit. She has extensive experience working with faculty to garner support for research, community engagement initiatives and student programs.

Taryn Stroop joined Chapman University in 2008 after moving to Southern California from Washington State. She holds a BA in Sociology and plans to pursue her Master’s in Education. Before working in the Dean’s office Taryn was the Administrative Assistant to the Sociology Department. She joined the Dean’s staff in November of 2010.

Allison joined Chapman University in 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication from UC San Diego. Prior to coming to Chapman, Allison worked in Research Planning and Government Relations at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Allison enjoys hiking, yoga and reading. She also takes pleasure in traveling- whether it is a short weekend trip from Southern California or a far away exotic location- and has been to sixteen countries on five continents!

Susilo came to Chapman University in 2006 from the Claremont Colleges. He moved to the United States from Indonesia in 1995 to attend college and learn English. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University - Hawaii where he earned his Bachelor's of Science in Information Systems. Susilo holds certifications from Microsoft and Dell. In his spare time, he enjoys playing various musical instruments with his wife Delilah.

Laura first joined Chapman University in the summer of 2006. Since her time here she has been responsible for recreating and maintaining the Wilkinson website, launching the Wilkinson Review and overseeing promotional material for various programs and events helping to carry out objectives of the college through forms of social media (Wilkinson Facebook Page, Wilkinson News Blog, Wilkinson Twitter). Laura earned her B.A. at the University of La Verne in Journalism and comes to us from The Orange County Register where she worked as a reporter for eight years.
