+-Career Expo [Spring]

expo crowdThe Career Expo is hosted annually by the Career Development Center in order allow recruiters and students the opportunity to have a personal exchange. The CDC strives to make each Career Expo better than the last, with highly sought after employers, raffles, giveaways and upscale ambiance. Taking place at the beginning of spring semester, the Expo has become one of the most popular CDC events of the year. +-PROWL Fashion Show [Fall]

prowl showThe PROWL Fashion show is a chance for students to get involved in all aspects of a high-value production. The Career Development Center partners with retailers to show stylish, appropriate looks for the workplace and answers questions like "What is the difference between casual and business casual?" Prowl also offers an opportunity to connect with different employers in the fashion industry.

Attallah Piazza is transformed with a huge runway, DJ, photographers, stylists and industry professionals all looking to connect with Chapman students. This event is a cutting edge way to get students first-hand experience in large-scale event planning while teaching networking and professional style.

+-Career Excursions

btbCareer Excursions are off campus day trips to professional destinations and corporations all over the Orange County and Los Angeles area. These trips are designed to connect students and employers and forge relationships while exposing students to the inter-workings of major companies and corporations.

Excursion to BTB Events & Productions

+-Courses of Excellence

 

coursesCourses of Excellence is an invite only program that puts students in a fine dining experience alongside  executives and professionals from major companies and corporations. This event is held on campus in Sandhu at the Chef's Table in Randall Dining Commons and includes open discussion with the professional guest and a multiple course meal designed by culinary experts.

+-Career Lounge & Professional Mixers

MIxerThese events are held numerous times per year and are open to all students and alumni. Professional Mixers provide opportunity to “pick the brains” of the professionals and executives present at each mixer in an intimate, yet casual setting. +-Desserts & Dialogue

 

ddDesserts & Dialogue is hosted by the Career Development Center & The Chapman Alumni Network

This event takes place in the evening and includes free desserts and appetizers for both students and alumni. Created to encourage connections and networking, this event will be hosted by alumni from different professional industries each time. Desserts & Dialogue is open to all students. To submit your name for invite, fill out the *Student Involvement Form or email vmorris@chapman.edu and express your interest.

 If you are an alumni that would like to be involved, fill out the *General Involvement Form.
